"I think I just stopped writing poetry forever. Or, at least, for a very extended period of time. I feel as if it's gotten to be too complicated for me, like the more beautiful and poetic I try to make it, the farther away it gets from the truth; and conversely, the more truthful I try to make it, the farther away it gets from being beautiful.
